The community of Ngqeleni was excited to see the JUMBO signage go up before the opening of TCQL as this meant they would no longer have to travel out of town to access a JUMBO store. Located in the town centre, TCQL opened its doors on Friday, 25 February. The reception of our store by the community was exceptional. On the opening day,  queues of customers eager to get their hands on our products started from as early as 7am. The opening went smoothly, and the new staff members brought fresh energy and a great vibe to the store. Although the store did not receive the full range of stock due to the change in season, the new look and feel and merchandising of products more than made up for this. A big thank you to the visual and merchandising department. TCQL far exceeded its store opening target and continues to do well.
